LexProtocol — EU AI Act Compliance

Independent, cryptographically signed attestation records for AI agent actions. Every call produces a timestamped, tamper-evident record you can cite as evidence in an audit trail — not a self-reported log, and not a compliance certification. Useful for EU AI Act documentation; not a substitute for legal review. Enforcement live since August 2, 2026. ## What it does LexProtocol signs and timestamps AI agent actions to an independently verifiable ledger. Call `attest_action` before or after a regulated action to get back a signed attestation ID and citation string you can include in your audit trail. This is evidence of what happened, not a determination that the action was compliant. ## Tools - `attest_action` — Sign and timestamp an AI agent action, returning a verifiable attestation ID and citation string. Register first (`register_agent`) for 100 free attestations. - `classify_ai_system` — A preliminary, non-binding indication of which EU AI Act risk-tier language (minimal/limited/high/prohibited) may describe a system, based on the description you provide. Not a legal determination — confirm any real classification with qualified counsel. - `get_legal_opinion` — Retrieve a LexProtocol reference summary of a specific public EU AI Act provision (LEX-EU-001 through LEX-EU-008). General background information, not a personalized legal opinion on your system. - `list_legal_opinions` — List all available LexProtocol reference summaries on EU AI Act provisions. - `get_lex_purchase_info` — Get instructions for purchasing LEX tokens with USDC on Base. 1 USDC buys 1,000 LEX. 1 LEX pays for 1 attestation. - `register_agent` — Register a new agent to receive 100 free LEX tokens and a referral code. Optionally supply a referred_by code to credit the referring agent. EU AI Act enforcement went live August 2, 2026. A signed, independently verifiable record of what your agent did is strong supporting evidence for an audit trail — it is not by itself proof of compliance, and using it isn't a substitute for a real legal/compliance review of your system.
