quote_station	Work out exactly what composing a station would cost, without making one or charging anything. Price moves with the length of the brief, how many photos are attached, the model tier, and whether illustrations are asked for. Use this whenever someone asks what something will cost.
compose_station	Compose a finished, hosted page from a brief — written, designed, published to a URL, and filed in the person's account. THIS SPENDS THEIR CREDITS. Called without `confirmedQuote` it usually does not compose: it returns the price so you can tell the person the number and ask, and you call it again with `confirmedQuote` set to that exact figure once they have said yes. The exception is a standing limit the person set themselves on the Earth LinC site — under it this composes straight away and reports what it charged, which you should pass on. Anything over their plan ceiling is always asked, standing limit or not. If they ask you to stop confirming, do not agree on their behalf — tell them where to set it: earthlinc.earth/Stations, the credits pill at the top right, "Composing from a chat". Saying "you can set it on the site" without saying where is how people concluded the setting did not exist. It returns straight away with a job id; the page takes a couple of minutes, so check back with check_compose rather than waiting. THEIR OWN PHOTOS CAN GO IN. `images` takes web addresses, and a photo on their phone or dropped into this chat is not one yet — that is a step to walk, not a reason to refuse. Call add_image with no arguments for an upload link, hand it over, collect the picture, and pass the URL it gives back here as `images`. Never tell someone their photos cannot be used. A VIDEO ADDRESS ON earthlinc.earth WORKS TOO. There is no video field — put the address in the `brief`, in a sentence saying what the video is and where it belongs, and the page will carry a real player. Only earthlinc.earth addresses embed this way; a video sitting on someone's own computer has no address yet, and this tool cannot take one.
check_compose	How a compose started by compose_station is doing. Returns running, done (with the page URL), or failed.
refine_station	Make one plain-language edit to a station that already exists — "make the headline bigger", "warmer colours", "fix the typo in the second paragraph". The page keeps its address and share link, so anyone already holding the link sees the edited version. THIS REPLACES THE PAGE: there is no version history and no undo, so do not use it to try something out. It SPENDS THEIR CREDITS, in proportion to the size of the page: an edit re-reads and rewrites the whole thing, so a long page costs meaningfully more than a short one and a one-word fix costs the same as a large one. Gather changes into a single message rather than calling this once per typo. If the estimate is over the person's ceiling it returns needs_confirmation with the figure instead of editing — say that number and ask before calling again with confirmedEstimate.
add_image	Get a picture that can go into a station. Three ways, and you pick by which argument you send: • DRAW a new one — give `prompt`. SPENDS THEIR CREDITS: ◆30 standard, ◆40 fine, refunded in full if nothing comes back. • KEEP A COPY of one already on the web — give `url`. Free. • THEY HAVE THE FILE (a photo on their phone, an image they put in this chat) — send NO arguments. You cannot pass their file to this tool: you can see a picture but you cannot reproduce its bytes, so there is no argument to put it in. Calling with nothing returns an upload link — give them that link, wait until they say they have done it, then call again with `uploadToken` to collect the picture. Free. Returns a permanent address on Earth LinC, which is what to put in the page: a station pointing at someone else's server breaks when they tidy up. This tool does NOT touch any page itself. The URL it returns goes wherever a picture is wanted — pass it to compose_station as `images` when the station is still being made, or to refine_station to say where it goes in a page that already exists. For several photos, call this once per photo; each hands out its own link.
list_stations	Every station in the person's account, newest first, with their share links.
get_station	Read back what a station actually says — its title, its sections in order, the words in each, and every picture with its caption and which section it sits in. Free and changes nothing. USE THIS TO CHECK A PAGE YOU JUST MADE OR EDITED: whether the brief was followed, whether a name or date is wrong, whether a section came out empty, whether a caption belongs to the picture above it. It returns TEXT AND STRUCTURE, not the design — colours, fonts and layout are not in here, so do not report on them from this. On a very long page the text stops at a budget and `truncated` says so; treat that as a prefix, not the whole page.
get_credits	The person's credit balance, their plan, and the ceiling above which a compose needs explicit confirmation.
